What happens with my money?
For just R3 250, Khaya Lam will ensure a legal council tenant receives a title deed to the home in which they live.
The fee per unit includes runners who garner applications, manager fees, conveyancer prep fees, conveyancer fees, title deed event costs (venue hire, food), advertising costs for lost deeds, media engagement, stationery, printing, travel, etc. It also covers the FMF’s overheads – project and financial management.
The Free Market Foundation is registered as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) and complies with the relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act.
The FMF can issue a Section 18A tax certificate to any donor on his/her request. A Section 18A tax certificate serves as proof that a donation made to that institution is tax-deductible.
