The Reside Awards 2024 “are a celebration of excellence in South Africa’s residential sector. They recognise leaders and innovators who are making a positive impact on the lives of South Africans. The winners of the Reside Awards 2024 were announced at a gala dinner on 18 July 2024. Khaya Lam was a WINNER in the Contributor of the Year 2024 – Company category. The award certificate was accepted by Terry Markman who attended the dinner with his wife, Lynn.
On Friday, 2 February 2024, the Free Market Foundation’s (FMF) Khaya Lam initiative received the Goodwill Award from the FW de Klerk Foundation. The FMF is grateful to the FW De Klerk Foundation for its ongoing commitment to upholding constitutional democracy, the rule of law, and private property rights in South Africa.
During Africa Liberty Forum 2017, more than 125 influencers and think tank professionals from 16 countries gathered to discuss the best and the brightest work breaking down the barriers to prosperity and opportunity on the continent. The winner of the 2017 Africa Liberty Award was the FMF for its Khaya Lam Land Reform Project.
The Impumelelo Centre for Social Innovation is a leading awards programme in South Africa, rewarding innovators who find creative solutions to public problems. Enabled by the Trust’s funding, Impumelelo staged a major awards event in November 2017 that identified and awarded 23 community programmes, including Khaya Lam, that demonstrated prize-worthy innovation.
